Brought me to tears last night. I can’t imagine suddenly being without someone that had been there with me in life that long. Guy must be a wreck.
And sadly, and selfishly, I admit, I am worried we’ll lose Stan very soon, as it often happens when one of a pair passes, the other soon follows of a broken heart.

She needs to feel you are dependable.
She needs to know that you are completely honest with her, even if it causes her pain.
She needs a man that can make her laugh even when she wants to cry.
She needs a man that is a positive role model that leads by example.
She needs to know that when things are serious you can communicate with her and that you can bring clarity to the muddiest of waters.
She needs a man that can be goofy at times and make mistakes.
She needs a man that can admit when he makes those mistakes and can find the value in the lessons learned from those mistakes.
She needs a man that wins her heart and earns her body.
She needs a simple man with dynamic plans.
She needs a best friend with unconditional love.

She needs a man that wants his love for her to be an epic love story that trumps any movie ever written.
She needs a man that will have her back even if she is in the wrong. This man will also never correct her publicly or with anger.

She deserves this and so much more. When she receives this and so much more, he deserves her trust, honesty, loyalty, patience and respect. Which he has shown her. He deserves the unequivocal knowledge that she will always be there. He deserves the benefit of after standing through the worst constant onslaught of storms, never wavering in his strength and support, to afforded the same. He deserves her trust, strength, and patience that any perceived weakness or chink in his armor is just that. Perceived and short lived. It’s always about the bigger picture. Except each other thorns and all and the rest will fall into place.
